Coastal Psychology Centre uses secure third-party platforms for appointment scheduling, telehealth video sessions, and secure record storage.
These platforms may collect or process personal information on our behalf. We take reasonable steps to ensure that third-party providers handle information securely and in accordance with privacy obligations.
While security measures are in place, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. By engaging in telehealth services, you acknowledge this risk.

Client records are stored securely using password-protected and encrypted digital systems.  
Health records are retained in accordance with professional and legal requirements in Australia, generally:

  • At least 7 years from the date of last service

  • For clients under 18 years of age, until at least age 25

Your personal information will not be disclosed without your consent except:

  • Where required or authorised by law

  • Where there is a serious threat to your health or safety or that of another person

  • For mandatory reporting obligations

  • To your GP or other healthcare providers (with consent)

  • To Medicare, WorkCover, or insurers for claiming purposes (where applicable and authorised)

We do not sell or trade personal information.
